dont call it uncharted tech. static server meshing is very charted and saying anything otherwise would be lying to your viewers

heres my issue with star citizen. update 4.0 was suppose to come out like 3 years ago maybe 4. the reason it didnt was because of server meshing and all this time they they have had we are getting 4.0 with only just static server meshing which is not new tech. even wow had static server meshing at one point. they have had so much time to work on this stuff. i dont see this game be able to get massive servers with dynamic server meshing there is just no fking way.

In five attempts, server error stopped everyone before it advanced. :( Would like xeno on a test branch so we can play on notmal servers when we want

Hi, last night I spent one hour trying to load 1SCU Cargo box on syulen but there was no CARGO GRID on outside cargo bays (some RUclips videos shows cargo snapping to grid automatically) and even if I manage to store it without a grid it seems the cargo will fall. Can someone help me how to load properly. Trying on 3.23.1 live.

Buddy an I played StarCitizen last 3 evenings in a row... 1st night was hangups and crashes...2nd night was marginally better and managed to harvest some bunker gear and mineral boxes. 3rd night was 4 hangups and requisite crash with 30k errors 😬 Required game reboot after all 4 separate 30k errors. We lost the mineral boxes in the hangup which also required us to claim our now empty ships. What is happening to the game we love 🤔 We were in 3.23.1 First 2 nights with early game launcher. Last night was after updating to 2.01 launcher. We wiped Shaders and User each time. This is getting ridiculous. Try again tonight...

i love my C1, my personal suggestion is to make that random knub on the top front of the craft where the black line ends into a unique sort of smaller sized docking arm or an EVA hatch.

In the cyberpunk dystopia of corpo owned whole planets the security forces shooting at you first is no grounds of any sort of "self defence". I guess the problems started when you got marked as trespassing (mission *should* have given you permit to be there, but bugs happen, or it might just have been the server recovery messing that up).

I recently cleaned up a space station. I went and collected all the trash I could find. I gathered together about 15 hospital gowns and stacked them one on top of the other in the lobby of the hospital like the obelisk from 2001.

My biggest problem with fps game play happened here. "is that a friendly or enemy??" *proceeds to shoot you or near you and you shoot back "so that was a friendly and now i have a crime stat... im done playing for the night now"

I dislike LMG so I have mixed feelings but it is nice to see at least one person there taking SC seriously. Then again it is LMG and they are in my blacklist after the events of a few years ago with Linus and employee issues.

I just bought the nomad as an upgrade for 23€ after having ubgraded my Cuter to an Avenger Titan for 16€ a few mouth ago and even if i dont have the paint and fiew of the pack avantages, it is still more comfortable if you have a mouthly budget for games. Also, i bought the nomad for ground mining as it is my favorite gameplay in a way since it is low risk and you can stop wenever you want.

I feel like Prison escape would have been fun to attempt xD

"The only good way to do this is with a large group of people" -- for such a big event, that doesn't sound bad at all to me! I would expect it to be wildly unbelievable that one dude would just Master Chief their way through the entire Xenothreat fleet and marine force, or even that a few people could do that. A proper large scale event like this should be a bigger fight.

I realized after posting this that it's missing some context for Luke. Before we started streaming, we played Arena Commander Pirate Swarm for around an hour where he got used to the new flight model and controls. That's why he was able to fly as well as he did on stream, and why we were more focused on FPS gameplay.

He is right, I could not tell what to do at that QT toggle area. A little flare to it would be cool, like making it glow to indicate what to do now. CIG really needs to fix box missions, for it is the perfect on-boarding missions, but they are so damn buggy. Luke may not be new, but Master Modes is no joke with tonnes of AI. Also, DCS is no joke with those deadly buggy AIs.

I also didn't notice the set route button at first and was clicking random keys that caused me to lose all mouse control in the game. idk how the f, but what ever. Yes CIG need to address this as it seems very common among the community.

My first game on helldiver difficulty i just got swarmed by 5 gunships lmao

They need to REMOVE MASTERMODES ASAP before 4.0. This sh*t is just beyond trash and destroys the flight enjoyement.

SC right now kinda goes "I'm gonna hop in and do a 20min thing".... 2 hours later you haven't even gotten to the place to DO the thing, you've lost money, your ship was destroyed by something invisible, and if you want to get back to where you were when you started you have to spend another hour just to get there. You're out of time, patience, your loved ones are wondering where you are, and you utter un-christian things about CIG and Chris Roberts angrily.... But you've already spent an embarrassing amount of money backing this game and you know you'll be back eventually
